The Mystery of Creation: Chapter 5: The Unseen Kingdom of God: God of Love, Harmony and Peace
God of Love, Harmony and Peace
This, then, should tell you what
kind of God He truly is. He is a God
that loves harmony and not pain and suffering.
He is not a God who loves both extremes.
If God is efficient, as it only makes sense that He is, then God would
create other intelligent beings to help Him create and maintain all
things. If God is efficient then He
would realize immediately that only when all things are at peace and working in
harmony will they be the most efficient that they can be. In order to be at peace and work in harmony,
then, these beings would need to be happy.
After all, it is plain to see that those who are miserable do not work
as well with one another.
Therefore, it only makes sense
that God is a God of love and peace and joy and happiness and harmony. He wants all creation to live in this manner
because all things work better together when they are happy and full of love
and peace and joy. When people are
hurting and hateful and spiteful and mean, they are destructive. Being destructive then tears down the system
and causes it to malfunction. It goes
against efficiency and perfection. It
creates pain and misery which then causes things to lose energy and become weak
which then slows down processes and makes things fall apart and even stop.
So God must be a good God who
wants nothing but love and joy and peace and happiness for all of His creations
because that would go along with the most logical nature of an eternal,
indestructible God.
But that still doesn’t explain
why things are the way they are. We
obviously still have a lot left to solve for.
Sure, we now can see that God wanted to create us, and that His desire
to create us was motivated by love, for He is a God of love and harmony and
peace. This also means that we now can
conclude that indeed God wants us to live in peace and harmony and that He is
simply enduring all this pain and misery so that He can get to His ultimate
goal. What we still don’t know is, “What
is God’s ultimate objective?” I mean,
since we know He loves and wants harmony and peace, and we are all messed up
and living in chaos, there must be something more that He is looking to achieve
through this whole act of creation. What
is God’s end game?
Let’s continue with our
discussion about the Unseen Kingdom of God and see if this mystery can also be
solved.
