The Mystery of Creation: Chapter 5: The Unseen Kingdom of God: Angels
Angels
The greater “programs,” however,
govern very complex things. They rule
over the Elementals. These greater
spirits are the tools that God would command to help Him shape and craft and
design the Elementals into whatever He has dreamed up. These beings would be more like humans in
that they could reason and assess problems and adjust things accordingly so
that whatever is wrong it is fixed to line up with the plan of God.
These greater beings would be
servants of God and they would directly control things under His ultimate
authority. Therefore, I am categorizing
these greater spirits as “Angels.” After
all, in the Bible, it is angels that do the bulk of God’s work for Him so that
He does not have to. Just look at the
Old Testament. More often than not, an
angel was delivering God’s messages, prayers, judgment, etc. Most of the time, it was not God Himself, but
God would send His angels to do His work for Him.
The same is true in the New
Testament as well, if you notice. Angels
came to Mary and Joseph and so forth.
Angels appeared to the shepherds by night. It was an angel that saved Peter from the
prison. Over and over again, we see
angels doing the bulk of God’s work. God would command, and they would obey.
In this way, God can enjoy His
creation…all of it…instead of having to spend a great deal of time and effort
every moment to sustain and maintain all things. Yes, God is an infinitely powerful being, but
if you were God and you could have someone else handle the day-to-day affairs
of your kingdom, even if it was an easy task for you, wouldn’t you let that
person handle it? If you knew you could
trust them, wouldn’t you gladly give over your tasks to them so you wouldn’t
have to handle everything yourself?
