The Mystery of Creation: Chapter 3: Understanding the Trinity: How All Things Are Made

How All Things Are Made
Now, every video game world is contained within the computer that it was downloaded onto.  In the same way, every single world and star, and all matter, are contained within God.  As quickly as a human’s mind can imagine something, God can make something exist, and with even less effort because He is infinitely more intelligent.
So how did God create all things?  What was the means by which He committed the acts of creation?  He defined all things through the Word.  He organized them through the Father.  He executed them by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The Father dreamed up the creation by using definitions He created using the Word, and then He ordered the Holy Spirit, by using the Word, to create everything just as the Word defined it all.
He gave everything their own names.  By doing so, He made them into new entities that were apart from themselves.  Remember the line and the line segment?  Once you put two dots on the line you form a line segment.  You form a limited segment out of an unlimited line.  Now, whenever you see that line segment, you no longer think of the line.  You just call it by the name of the line segment.  It is no longer the line.  It is its own, defined, entity.
For example, if you have Line A and then put two points on it, Point A and Point B, you have now formed Line Segment AB.  Line Segment AB could not exist without Line A, but Line A could exist without Line Segment AB.  Line Segment AB is finite, it has limits, but Line A extends beyond those limits.  Line Segment AB can be destroyed, simply by erasing the points A and B, but Line A still continues on in both directions in to eternity.  Line Segment AB is not considered to be Line A, nor is Line A considered to be Line Segment AB, but each has its own definition.
In the same way, God took His word and used it to define new things and give them names.  By calling the Earth “the Earth” God created something apart from Himself.  It is absolutely no different than a person taking Line A and making Line Segment AB.  God merely redefined a section of His Own Eternal Space, and He defined it as something else by and through the Word.  Now, whenever someone looks at the Earth, they don’t think of God.  They think of the Earth.  Is God still a part of the Earth?
Yes.  God gives life to the Earth.  He sustains it.  It could not exist if He decided to just wipe the definitions that are all grouped together under the file called “Earth” off of His “hard drive.”  You see, by taking all sorts of definitions and putting one big name over it, “Earth”, God fragmented off a piece of His Infinite Self and made it something totally different.
So to say that we are all God is a lie.  We are not all God.  We do not feed life into God.  We are not a part of His collective conscious mind.  Although He knows everything that happens to us because the Holy Spirit gives life and power to all things and gathers knowledge from all things, we do not contribute to the Will of God.  We do not have access to the power of the Holy Spirit unless He doles out that power to us in whatever measure He wants us to have.  Though we are all surrounded by the Holy Spirit, we are not really a part of the Holy Spirit because like the line segment, we have been given new names and new identities and new minds of our own that are separate from His.
Now, some might struggle with all this and say, “Are you honestly telling me that you believe that we are all in some big cosmic computer and God IS this computer?”  This is a hard thing for people to really swallow.  However, if you examine the facts you will see that indeed it is very true that God is LIKE a limitless computer.  (Notice, however, that I did not say that God IS a computer.  I said He is LIKE a computer.  Remember, we are discussing models, and models are not what the actual thing is that they are representing.  We just use models to better understand something.)
