The Mystery of Creation: Chapter 3: Understanding the Trinity: The Three Basic Elements of Intelligence
The Three Basic Elements of Intelligence
Why is all this important to
understanding God? It teaches us that something
that is intelligent must have three basic elements. These three elements are: Definition, Law and
Energy. For example, in order for the
number line to exist an individual needs numbers to count. The Definition, then, of the number line is
the numbers that it uses. I can use the
numbers 0 through 9 or I could even create a number line with just the numbers
0 and 1. (Note: using numbers 0 and 1 is
what computer programmers use a lot of times as a computer language called
binary language. Programmers can create
entire system commands simply by using two numbers, 0 and 1 and putting them in
different sequences. Ex. 00100101 means
something totally different than 01011010.)
So if the Definition of the number
line is the numbers it uses, what is the Law of the number line? The Law of a number line is something like
this: First you count 0 and then 1 and then 2 and then 3 and then 4, and then 5
and then 6 and then 7 and then 8 and then 9.
Once you reach 9 you return to 0 but add a 1 to the left of the 0 to
create 10. Then repeat but only changing
the digit to the right until you reach 9 again.
When you reach 9 again you return that digit to 0 but increase the digit
just to the left by 1. Follow this pattern
indefinitely. This is the Law that the Definition
obeys.
What, then, is the Energy of the
number line? The Energy is whatever it
is that is changing the Definition and obeying the Law. So if you have a counter and you hit the
button on the counter, you are transmitting energy to the dial to switch the
number from 00 to 01 to 02 to 03, and so forth.
The source of the energy, then, is the person pressing the button and
thus making the change.
So we see that computers have these
three elements in place. The Energy that
it has comes from a battery or electrical outlet. This Energy causes all things to function
within the computer. It is regulated by
the control unit which passes the energy into the ALU. This ALU then sets rules and orders, thus
acting as the Law, which the Energy transmits to various parts of the
computer. It is the control unit that
controls the Energy that actually executes the commands of the ALU’s Law.
As for the Definition that is
found within the computer, that is the computer programming. The CPU determines which programming to obey
and when and how, but it needs the programming, those definitions, or it cannot
function. Even the ALU is built upon
rules created by the computer programming.
It is the computer programming within the ALU that dictates how the ALU
puts all things in order.
Notice that if even one of these
three things is missing the computer would not function. Without Energy, the computer is dead. Without the Law, the ALU, the computer would
not function properly and the entire system would be a mass of chaos. A user wouldn’t even be able to do anything
on the computer, for nothing would actually give the commands to the Energy to
tell the system what to do next. Without
the Definition, the computer code, the ALU and control unit would never
understand any commands and would never be able to even give commands for the
system to obey. Therefore, in order for
an intelligence to exist it must consist of three distinctly different
elements. All three work together in
unity, and each needs the other just to function.
